Blue Hills Shooting Stars
The Blue Hills Sportsmen’s Club is home to the Blue Hills Shooting Stars, youth Trap and Pistol/rifle team. The shooting Stars are part of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) and the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP).
Our youth athletes compete in the Wisconsin State Championship and National Championship Competitions each year. National Competition is held at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo Ohio. We have had 2 National medal winners from our pistol/rifle team.
The 2024 State Match Team
These are Youth Athletes from the Blue Hills Shooting Stars. These athletes are from the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, Cameron, Barron and Bloomer School Districts.
These young athletes have to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and attitude when handling firearms. And once again they did just that representing our area and their schools with pride. Our team walked away from this competition with several medals demonstrating that they are some of the best youth shooting athletes in the state of Wisconsin.
