Coyote Challenge 2026
Two-day coyote hunt with weigh-ins at the club. Cash prizes for largest, smallest, and average coyotes—plus cash raffle prizes.

Raffle Requirement
Every contestant must purchase a raffle ticket in order to register a coyote. Contestants must present the raffle ticket stub for the coyote to qualify.

Tickets available at the club Sundays 10 AM – Noon. No tickets sold the day of the event.
Prizes
Cash prizes are awarded for the largest, smallest, and average coyotes, plus five cash raffle prizes.
Rules
Raffle ticket required
Every contestant must purchase a raffle ticket in order to register a coyote. Contestants must present the raffle ticket stub for the coyote to qualify.
No tickets sold the day of the event
Raffle tickets are available at the club Sundays from 10 AM to Noon. Tickets will not be sold on the day of the event.
Hunt window
The hunt starts February 28, 2026 at 12:01 AM. Only coyotes legally harvested during the event window may be entered.
Weigh-in and measuring
Weigh-in and measuring take place March 1 from 10:00 AM to Noon at the club. Absolutely no weigh-in or measuring will be allowed after Noon.
Legal harvest methods
Coyotes must be harvested by legal methods. Please follow all rules and regulations of the Wisconsin DNR.
Side Event: Steel Coyote Challenge
During the Coyote Challenge, you can also participate in the Steel Coyote Challenge. If the shooter hits the target, they draw a “weight” out of a bucket.
Steel Challenge Rules
Raffle ticket required to shoot
You must have purchased a raffle ticket to shoot. If no raffle ticket was purchased, you need to pay $10 to the club to be eligible to shoot the steel challenge.
Calibers
Calibers should be normal coyote hunting calibers (no .50 cal or .338 Lapua).
No practice rounds
No practice rounds are allowed.
Pricing
1 shot for $5 or 3 shots for $10.
Hit the target → draw a weight
If the shooter hits the target, they draw “weight” out of a bucket.
Payouts
Payouts are based on: Largest (40%), Smallest (30%), and Average (30%).
Shoot hours and sign-up
Shoot hours are 10–Noon. If there are still shooters that haven’t shot yet, hours will be extended. Shooters must be signed up to shoot before Noon.
No limit on attempts
There is no limit on how many times a participant can shoot.
